The clock industry workshop AN-HOR was born in 1952. At the beginning it was working only for one score of Brucellosis retailers, in the 70’s it widened its activities to maintain and to manufacture turn’s clocks, then with the restoration of the old clocks.
Consequently, it opens its doors to the private individuals and adds the trade of watches and clocks. Nowadays we added the sale of tools and supplies for clocks and watches makers’ and for jewelers. We are the last in Brussels in providing those supplies.
Perhaps although Bruno ANECA was born with a magnifying glass screwed on his eye, after than in 1952 “The Uncle” opened his workshop, 1 rue Saint-Christophe… One half-century later, 3 Rue des Chartreux, Bruno looks after invaluable mechanics of the watches and pendulums and their boxes.
About restoration… “We intervene only on the points of wear and what we do must always be reversible. This wants to say that the one who will work after us will be able to make the same operation without damaging the object. A restoration of quality makes possible the object to function without worsening more of advantage. The clock will remain then in the state as at its origin, for eternity.” Bruno ANECA. |
